\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Agenda be adopted as presented.
\n\t Carried.\t<\/p>\n
2.\tS. Windsor \u2013 D. Bartel
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Council of the Town of Minitonas do hereby authorize \tCAO, Carolyn Gordon to submit a request for Grant-In-Aid Funding to Manitoba \tInfrastructure & Transportation for the application of dust control on 700m of 2nd \tAvenue.

3.\tD. Bartel \u2013 J. Caruk
\n\tWHEREAS the Minitonas Town Council, in cooperation with the Minitonas Age Friendly Committee wishes to establish a system of walking trails throughout the community, and;
\n\tWHEREAS the Council agrees that this is a great opportunity to provide a safe \tway for local residents of all ages to be physically active and will also be a \twonderful enhancement to our community;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT we do hereby authorize CAO, Carolyn Gordon to make an application under the Active Transportation Fund;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT letters of support shall be requested from \tSwan Valley School Division, local organizations and the local recreation district acknowledging the benefits of developing local walking trails in Minitonas.

4.\t J. Caruk \u2013 S. Windsor
\n\tRESOLVED THAT a gratuity in the amount of $100.00 shall be made to the students of SVRSS Carpentry Program in appreciation for their hard work building picnic tables for the Welcomestop Campground, and;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT said gratuity shall be presented as a gift \tcertificate from Kneaden Take-Out.

5.\t J. Caruk \u2013 D. Bartel
\n\tWHEREAS costs for maintenance and repairs to the Minitonas Library Building have significantly increased in the last few years, but the rental rates charged for the 2nd Floor Space has remained unchanged;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT we do hereby agree to increase the monthly rental to cover said cost increase and shall present the attached contract to the tenant for the 2014 Calendar Year.

6.\tS. Windsor – D. Bartel
\n\tWHEREAS the added costs for improvements and repairs to the Water\/Sewer System have caused a deficit in the Town\u2019s Utility for the past three consecutive years;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Town of Minitonas does hereby authorize CAO, Carolyn Gordon to undertake a Water Rate Study and \tbegin preparing an application to the Public Utility Board for an increase in \tWater\/Sewer Rates.

\n\tRESOLVED THAT we do now adjourn at 9:50 pm to meet again for the next \tregular meeting of Council to be held on the 5th day of February, 2014 A.D. at 7:00 pm.
