\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Agenda be adopted as presented.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n
2.\tS. Windsor – D. Bartel
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the Regular Meetings of Council held on October 2nd, 2013 & October 16th, 2013 and the Special Meetings of Council held on October 4th, 2013, October 9th, 2013 & October 16th, 2013 shall be adopted as circulated.

3.\t D. Bartel \u2013 J. Caruk
\n\tWHEREAS the purchase of a Kubota Diesel Front Mower \u2013 Model No. F3080 was approved by resolution No. 1, October 4th, 2013 and;
\n\tWHEREAS this model is no longer available for purchase;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Town of Minitonas does \thereby agree to the purchase of a Kubota Diesel Front Mower \u2013 Model No. F3990 from \tRough Country Sports as per the details attached hereto for the same price as originally \tapproved.

4.\tS. Windsor – J. Caruk
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Minitonas Town Council does hereby agree to place a joint ad \twith the RM of Minitonas in the Military Service Recognition Book as attached hereto.

5.\tS. Windsor – J. Caruk
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Council for the Town of Minitonas does hereby agree to place an ad in support of the Community Foundation of Swan Valley for a cost of $40.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n
6.\tJ. Caruk \u2013 D. Bartel
\n\tWHEREAS additional work requested by the Waste Management Committee at the \tMinitonas Waste Management Site were determined to be outside of the monthly contract \tagreement;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Minitonas Town Council does hereby \tagree to the additional payment as attached hereto, and shall forward a recommendation for \tapproval by the RM of Minitonas Council.

7.\tD. Bartel \u2013S. Windsor
\n\tWHEREAS the Public Works Employee Overtime Reports have been received & reviewed by Council;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT all applicable overtime hours recorded for the \tmonth of October, 2013 shall be approved and paid out with the November 15th, 2013 \tpayroll booked for future use as indicated on the aforementioned reports, copies of which \thave been attached hereto.

\n\tWHEREAS the Minitonas Town Council has determined that, under the terms of By-Law \tNo. 2\/2007, the condition of the attached property has become unsightly, a nuisance and \tpossible danger to the public, and;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the owner of the aforementioned property will \tbe given written notice advising them that the condition of said property must be rectified by \tthe deadline of November 15th, 2013, and;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT, should the condition of the property not be \tcorrected by November 15th, 2013 the Minitonas Town Council shall provide authorization \tfor the work to be completed and the associated costs of said work shall be billed to the \tproperty owner accordingly.

9.\tS. Windsor – D. Bartel
\n\tWHEREAS all appeals to the 2014 Assessments have been satisfied and there are none \toutstanding;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Board of Revision scheduled for November \t6th, 2013 is hereby cancelled and a letter of notification shall be sent to the Municipal \tAssessor with regards to the aforesaid cancellation;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the 2014 Assessment Roll for the Town of \tMinitonas shall be adopted as presented.

10.\tS. Windsor – D. Bartel
\n\tWHEREAS the attached offer to purchase was received by the Town of Minitonas, and;
\n\tWHEREAS the municipality intends to sell the property known as Lot 30, Plan 3129;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Minitonas Town Council does hereby \tapprove the sale of the aforementioned lot for $100 plus legal costs under the terms and \tconditions outlined on Schedule \u2018A\u2019 attached hereto.

11.\tD. Bartel \u2013 S. Windsor
\n\tWHEREAS a By-Election to fill the vacant position of Councillor for the Town of \tMinitonas was held under the requirements of Subsection 105(3) of the Municipal Act and \tin accordance with the regulations under the Municipal Councils and School Boards \tElection Act, and;
\n\tWHEREAS no nominations were received by the deadline of October 28th, 2013 and;
\n\tWHEREAS there is still a majority of the number of members compromising the council \tand less than 12 months until the next Municipal Election;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Minitonas Town Council does hereby \tagree to continue operating until the October, 2014 Municipal Election as a council of 4 \tmembers under the authority of Subsection 105(1) of the Municipal Act.

\n\tRESOLVED THAT Councillor Steve Windsor shall hereby be appointed to represent the \tTown of Minitonas on the LP Liaison Committee.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n
13.\t S. Windsor \u2013 D. Bartel
\n\tRESOLVED THAT Council for the Town of Minitonas does hereby authorize CAO, \tCarolyn Gordon to register the municipality on \u2018Municipal Classified.ca\u2019 under a Lifetime \u2013 \tNo Charge Bronze Account.

\n\tRESOLVED THAT the date of November 27, 2013 shall be set for the Town of Minitonas \tStrategic Planning Meeting.

\n\tRESOLVED THAT the date of December 4th, 2013 at 7:00 pm shall be suggested for the \tTown & RM of Minitonas Joint Meeting and forwarded to the RM of Minitonas Council for \tconfirmation of the date.

\n\tRESOLVED THAT we do now adjourn at 10:45 pm., and;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT, due to a conflict with the date of the Village of \tBowsman Amalgamation Meeting, we do hereby agree to meet again for the next regular \tmeeting of Council to be held on the 27th day of November, 2013 A.D. at 7:00 pm.
