\"\"A Regular Meeting of Council of the Village of Benito was called to order at 7:00 pm on Tuesday October 8, 2013 in the Village Council Chambers. <\/p>\n

Present: Mayor Meadows;
\nDeputy Mayor Scouten;
\n<\/br>Councilor Schneider;Councilor Offenberger;
\n\t Absent with permission – Councilor Zebinski<\/p>\n

\t Chief Administrative Officer ~ Pat Ellingson.<\/p>\n

\t \tMayor Meadows called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm<\/p>\n

\t1. \tSCHNEIDER
\n \t\t\tSCOUTEN
\n \tRESOLVED that the minutes of the Regular Meeting Council held on September 24, 2013 be adopted as presented.
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCarried.<\/p>\n

\t\t2. \t SCOUTEN
\n OFFENBERGER
\n \t\t\tRESOLVED that the agenda for the Regular meeting held on October 8, \t\t\t\t2013 be adopted as presented.
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCarried.<\/p>\n

\t\t3.\t \tSCOUTEN
\n \t\t\tSCHNEIDER
\n \t\t\tRESOLVED that accounts numbered 24953 to 25004 in the amount
\n\t\t\t\ttotaling $38,885.09 be ratified as paid.
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCarried.<\/p>\n

\t 4. \tSCOUTEN
\n \t\t\tOFFENBERGER
\n \t\t\t\tRESOLVED that members of Council be authorized to attend the \t\t\tmunicipal officials meeting being held in Portage la Prairie on \t\t\t\tThursday October 10, 2013; and
\n\t\t\t\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that expenses be authorized for payment \t\t\tas per By-Law #02\/08.
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCarried. \t\t\t\t\t\t <\/p>\n

\t 5. \tOFFENBERGER
\n \t\t\tSCOUTEN
\n \t\t\tRESOLVED that the Village of Benito hereby appoints Pacak,Kowal
\n\t\t\tHardie and Company of Swan River, Manitoba as Auditor for the \t\t\tVillage for the years ending December 31, 2013 and 2014.
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCarried.<\/p>\n

\t 6. \tSCHNEIDER
\n \t\t\tSCOUTEN
\n \t\t\tWHEREAS there have been no appeals to the 2014 preliminary rolls \t\t\tfor the 2013 Board of Revision;
\n\t\t\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the 2014 Board of Revision \t\t\t\tscheduled for Tuesday October 22, 2013 be hereby cancelled and that \t\t\tthe Municipal Assessor be notified of the aforesaid cancellation; and
\n\t\t\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 2014 Assessment Roll be \t\t\t\tadopted as presented.
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCarried.<\/p>\n

\n\t \t\t\tOFFENBERGER
\n\t\t\t\tRESOLVED that we do adjourn the Regular Meeting of Counci at \t\t\t10:55 pm.
