1. \tW. Robb \u2013 S. Windsor
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Agenda be adopted as presented.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n

2.\tS. Windsor \u2013 J. Caruk
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Council for the Town of Minitonas agrees to make the attached \tpayments towards the Hall Roof Project.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n

3.\tW. Robb \u2013 S. Windsor
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Animal Control Officer\u2019s Report for the month of July, 2013 shall \tbe accepted as presented, a copy of which is attached hereto, and;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT payment for contract services for Animal Control \tshall be made as per the aforementioned report.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n

4.\tW. Robb \u2013 D. Bartel
\n\tRESOLVED THAT approval of payment be made for the List of Accounts numbered 5455 \tto 5506 inclusive, amounting to $51,285.52.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n

5.\tW. Robb \u2013 S. Windsor
\n\tRESOLVED THAT a 12 foot utility trailer shall be purchased for the sum of $2000 plus \ttax as per the details attached hereto;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT $2160.00 shall be transferred from the \tmunicipality\u2019s Equipment Replacement Reserve to fund the aforementioned purchase.

6.\tD. Bartel – J. Caruk
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Bank Reconciliation and the Financial Statement for the period \tending July 31st, 2013 shall be approved as presented.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n

7.\tS. Windsor – W. Robb
\n\tWHEREAS the transfer of funds from the Town & RM of Minitonas\u2019 Fire Fighting \tRetainer \u2013 Capital Equipment Reserve for the payment of capital repairs to the Minitonas \tFire Truck has received approval from the Council of the Rural Municipality of Minitonas, \tand;
\n\tWHEREAS the Minitonas Town Council also approves the transfer of funds for this \tpurpose, fulfilling the terms and conditions of withdrawals from the joint reserve account \tunder by-Law No. 2\/2009;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the amount of $2315.58 plus shipping and \ttaxes shall be transferred from the municipality\u2019s Fire Fighting Retainer \u2013 Capital \tEquipment Reserve to the General Operating Account as per the attached estimate.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n

8.\tW. Robb \u2013 D. Bartel
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Minitonas Town Council has reviewed and approve the adoption \tof the assessment changes as listed by Manitoba Local Government \u2013 Assessment Branch \tdated August 15, 2013 as per the details attached hereto;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the necessary changes be made to the 2013 \tAssessment Roll for the Town of Minitonas under the authority of Subsection 300(6) and \tSection 326 of The Municipal Act, and Supplementary Tax Bills shall be processed and \tdistributed according to the aforementioned changes.

9.\tD. Bartel \u2013 J. Caruk
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Council of the Town of Minitonas does hereby agree to enter into \tan agreement with MTS for the removal of snow from the Minitonas CO as per the \tagreement received on August 21st, 2013;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT CAO, Carolyn Gordon shall be authorized to sign \tsaid agreement on behalf of the municipality.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n

10.\tW. Robb- S. Windsor
\n\tRESOLVED THAT we do now adjourn at 9:20 pm to meet again for the next regular \tmeeting of council to be held on the 4th day of September, 2013 A.D. at 7:00 pm.
