\nDeputy Councilor Offenberger; <\/p>\n
Councilor Zebinski; Councilor Schneider; Deputy Mayor Scouten
\nChief Administrative Officer – Pat Ellingson<\/p>\n
Mayor Meadows called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.<\/p>\n

\nSCOUTEN
\nRESOLVED that the agenda for the Regular meeting held on July 9, 2013 be adopted as amended.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n
2. SCHNEIDER
\nOFFENBERGER
\nRESOLVED that the minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held on June 25, 2013 be adopted as presented.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n
3. SCOUTEN
\nOFFENBERGER
\nRESOLVED that following Building Permit be accepted as presented;
\nDP\/BP # 06-13 102 Main Street Demolition
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nZEBINSKI
\nRESOLVED that accounts numbered 24763 to 24822 in the amount totaling $ 33,188.48 be ratified as paid.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nWHERAS Section 300(6) of the Municipal Act provides for the correction of taxes due to changes in the physical condition or reclassification of properties as reported by the Assessment Branch;
\nAND WHEREAS the Village of Benito tax roll has properties which requires such corrections;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that property taxes totaling $153.99 as per Schedule \u201cA\u201d affixed hereto be hereby cancelled.

6. ZEBINSKI
\nSCOUTEN
\nWHEREAS Section 326(1) of the Municipal Act provides for the correction of taxes due to improvement on the property requires an increase because of the physical condition of the improvement as reported by the Assessment Branch;
\nAND WHERAS the Village of Benito tax roll has properties which requires such corrections;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that property taxes totaling $3,701.76 as per Schedule \u201cA\u201d affixed hereto be hereby added to the respective tax roll.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n
7. SCOUTEN
\nSCHNEIDER
\nWHEREAS the Village of Benito has received the Grant of Easement provided by Manitoba Hydro; and
\nWHEREAS the aforesaid document requires authorized signatories of the Village;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the Chief Administrative Officer be authorized to sign the document as required.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nOFFENBERGER
\nRESOLVED that pursuant to Section 152(3) of the Municipal Act, Council go into Committee of the whole and close the meeting to the public.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n
9. SCOUTEN

\nRESOLVED that pursuant to Section 152(4) of the Municipal Act, that this meeting be re-opened to the public.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n
10. SCHNEIDER
\nSCOUTEN
\nWHEREAS the June employee overtime reports have been received and reviewed by Council;
\nBE IT RESOLVED that the overtime hours recorded be accepted as presented and be approved for payment as attached hereto as Schedule \u201cA\u201d.

\nRESOLVED that the Village Office be closed on Thursday July 18 and Friday July 19, 2013.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nBE IT RESOLVED that the Regular meeting of Council scheduled for Tuesday July 23, 2013 be hereby cancelled.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that we do adjourn the Regular Meeting of Council at 10:30 pm.
