\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Agenda be adopted as presented.

2.\tD. Bartel – J. Caruk
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the minutes of the Regular Meetings of Council held on April \t3rd, 2013 & April 17th, 2013 and the minutes of the Special Meeting of Council held \ton April 4th, 2013 shall be adopted as circulated.

3.\tS. Windsor \u2013 J. Caruk
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Minitonas Town Council agrees to contract Reta Jones \tfor cleaning at the Minitonas Hall under the terms and conditions attached hereto.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n
4.\tW. Robb – D. Bartel
\n\tWHEREAS the Public Works Employee Overtime Reports have been received & \treviewed by Council;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT all applicable overtime hours \trecorded for the month of April, 2013 shall be approved and paid out with the May \t15th, 2013 payroll or booked for future use as indicated on the aforementioned \treports, copies of which have been attached hereto.

5.\tD. Bartel – J. Caruk
\n\tRESOLVED THAT By-Law No. 1\/2013, being a By-Law of the Town of \tMinitonas for the purpose of establishing a rate for special services as outlined in \tSpecial Service Plan No. 1\/2013 for the years 2013-2018 inclusive, shall be read a \tsecond time this 1st day of May, 2013 A.D.

6.\tW. Robb- S. Windsor
\n\tWHEREAS the Town of Minitonas has received funding for a summer student \tunder the HomeTown Green Team Program;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council agrees to hire Janel \tSagert for the aforementioned position, with a start date of May 6, 2013 and a \tcompletion date of August 30th, 2013.
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the job description and wages shall be set \tin accordance with the application for funding under the Hometown Green-Team \tProgram, and all Workplace Safety Regulations shall be reviewed with the \tsuccessful candidate prior to beginning their employment.

\n\tWHEREAS the closure of PTH 10 due to flooding has created substantial hardship \tfor the residents and businesses of the Town of Minitonas, and;
\n\tWHEREAS the road used as a temporary detour cannot sustain the traffic volumes \tand has become unsafe;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT we urge Manitoba Infrastructure and \tTransportation to rectify the situation so that traffic can be restored to PTH 10.

\n\tRESOLVED THAT we do now adjourn at 10:15 pm to meet again for the next \tregular meeting of Council to be held on the 15th day of May, 2013 A.D. at 7:00 \tpm.
