A flood warning is issued when river levels are exceeding the banks and a flood is expected or occurring.<\/p>\n<p>* The Swan River at the town of Swan River is near flood stage and continues to rise.  Water levels upstream from the town are beginning to decline and the crest is expected to reach the townsite within 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>* The town has used sandbags and flood tubes provided by the province to protect properties in the community and continues to closely monitor the river.
