\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Agenda be adopted as presented.
\n\t Carried.\t<\/p>\n
2.\tD. Bartel \u2013 J. Caruk
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Bank Reconciliation and the Financial Statement for the period ending March 31st, 2013 shall be approved as presented.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n
3.\tW. Robb \u2013 S. Windsor
\n\tRESOLVED THAT approval of payment be made for the List of Accounts numbered 5289 to 5322 inclusive, amounting to $73,485.96.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n
4.\tJ. Caruk \u2013 D. Bartel
\n\tRESOLVED THAT 2012 Audited Financial Statements for the Swan Valley Airport shall be accepted as submitted.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n
5.\tS. Windsor – W. Robb
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Animal Control Officer\u2019s Report for the month of March, 2013 shall be accepted as presented, a copy of which is attached hereto, and;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT payment for contract services for Animal Control shall be made as per the aforementioned report.

6.\tD. Bartel \u2013 J. Caruk
\n\tWHEREAS the Minitonas Town Council has received several complaints regarding the unsightly condition of the property known as Lot 10, Block 7, Plan 343 and are very concerned about the overabundance of animal waste that accumulated this winter, and;
\n\tWHEREAS, under the terms of By-Law No. 2\/2007, the condition of the above noted property has become unsightly and a danger to public health & safety, and;
\n\tWHEREAS the owner of the aforementioned property was given written notice advising that the condition of said property must be rectified by the deadline of April 13th, 2013, and no improvements have been made to the unhealthy and unsightly condition of this property;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, should the condition of the property not be corrected by April 24th, 2013 the Town Council shall provide authorization for the work to be completed and the associated costs of said work shall be billed to the property owner accordingly.

7.\tW. Robb \u2013 S. Windsor
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Minitonas Town Council does hereby agree to make a grant in the amount of $400.00 to the Tent Town Garden Club.

8.\tJ. Caruk \u2013 D. Bartel
\n\tWHEREAS the candidate chosen for the position of Assistant Public Works Foreman has declined the offer made by council;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Minitonas Town Council does \thereby agree to re-advertise the position of Assistant Public Works Foreman as \tattached hereto, with a deadline for applications to be set for 4:30 pm on May 3rd, \t2013.

9.\tW. Robb \u2013 S. Windsor
\n\tWHEREAS the process of attracting immigrants and assisting them in settling into the Swan River Valley is important for economic development and growth both in \tthe Town of Minitonas and in the Swan River Valley;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Minitonas Town Council does hereby agree to provide funding in the amount of $535.00 for the 2013 Fiscal Year as per the attached contribution chart, and;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT a review of the program shall be requested prior to December 31, 2013 for consideration of municipal participation and funding in future years.

10.\tD. Bartel \u2013 S. Windsor
\n\tWHEREAS the Minitonas Town Council has established an award to recognize special volunteer efforts in the Town of Minitonas;
\n\t THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council shall make available applications for nominations for the \u2018Town of Minitonas Volunteer Award\u2019 beginning April 18th, 2013;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVE THAT the deadline for submission shall be set at \tJune 18th, 2013 and shall be presented at the July 1st \u2018Canada Day\u2019 Pancake Breakfast.

11.\tJ. Caruk – W. Robb
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Minitonas Hall shall be provided free of charge for the Book Sale being held to raise funds for the Minitonas Library on Saturday, May 18th, 2013.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n
12.\tW. Robb – S. Windsor
\n\tRESOLVED THAT we do now adjourn at 10:30 pm to meet again for the next \tregular meeting of Council to be held on the 1st day of May, 2013 AD at 7:00 pm.
