1. \tW. Robb \u2013 S. Windsor
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Agenda be adopted as presented.
\n\t Carried.\t<\/p>\n
2.\tJ. Caruk \u2013 D. Bartel
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held on \tOctober 3rd, 2012 and October 17th, 2012 shall be adopted as circulated.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n
3.\tS. Windsor \u2013 W. Robb
\n\tWHEREAS the Minitonas Town Council has received quotes for the purchase of \tpaving stones as provided for under the 2012 \u2018Sidewalk Budget\u2019;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT we do hereby agree to make a \tpurchase of sidewalk paving stones as attached hereto.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n
4.\tD. Bartel – J. Caruk
\n\tRESOLVED THAT we do hereby agree to purchase a \u00bc page ad in the Royal \tCanadian Legion \u2013 Military Service Recognition Book, and shall utilize the same \tformat as used in previous years;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the cost of said ad will be shared equally \tbetween the Town & RM of Minitonas.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n
5.\tW. Robb \u2013 J. Caruk
\n\tRESOLVED THAT the Public Works Report for the month of October shall be \taccepted as submitted by the Town Foreman, a copy of which is attached hereto.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n
6.\tJ. Caruk \u2013 D. Bartel
\n\tWHEREAS the Public Works Employee Overtime Reports have been received & \treviewed by Council;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT all applicable hours recorded for the \tmonth of October, 2012 shall be paid out with the November 15, 2012 payroll or \tbooked for future use as indicated on the aforementioned reports, copies of which \thave been attached hereto.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n
7.\tS. Windsor – W. Robb
\n\tWHEREAS all properties with taxes owing for any portion of the year 2010 or \tprior, along with the associated tax sale costs have been paid in full, and;
\n\tWHEREAS Taxervice has submitted a report indicating that the 2012 tax sale \tauction has therefore been cancelled;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT we do hereby accept the \taforementioned report, a copy of which is attached hereto.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n
8.\tW. Robb \u2013 J. Caruk
\n\tWHEREAS all appeals to the 2013 Assessment has been satisfied and there are \tnone outstanding;
\n\tTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Board of Revision scheduled for \tNovember 7th, 2012 is hereby cancelled and a letter of notification shall be sent to \tthe Municipal Assessor with regards to the aforesaid cancellation;
\n\tBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the 2013 Assessment Roll for the Town \tof Minitonas shall be adopted as presented.
\n\tCarried.<\/p>\n
9.\tW. Robb \u2013 S. Windsor
\n\tRESOLVED THAT we do now adjourn at 11:10 pm to meet again for the next \tregular meeting of Council to be held on the 21st day of November, 2012 A.D. at \t7:00 pm.
