\"\"A Regular Meeting of Council of the Village of Benito was called to order at 7:00 pm on Tuesday October 23, 2012 in the Village Council Chambers. Present – Mayor Meadows, Deputy Mayor Scouten; Councilor Offenberger; Councilor Zebinski; Councilor Schneider
\nChief Administrative Officer – Pat Ellingson<\/p>\n

Mayor Meadows called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that the minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held on October 9, 2012 be adopted as presented.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

2.
\nSCOUTEN
\nZEBINSKI
\nRESOLVED that the agenda for the Regular meeting held on October 23, 2012 be adopted as amended.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

3.

\nSCOUTEN
\nWHEREAS there have been appeals to the 2013 preliminary rolls for the 2012 Board of Revision; and
\nWHEREAS the respective appeals have been withdrawn or as in accordance with Sec 15.1 of the Municipal Assessment Act an agreement can be entered into in respect of a property and is therefore regarded as having been withdrawn;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the 2013 Board of Revision scheduled for Tuesday October 23, 2012 be hereby cancelled and that the Municipal Assessor be notified of the aforesaid cancellation; and
\nBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 2013 Assessment Rolls be adopted as presented.

\nBE IT RESOLVED that the October Maintenance report be accepted as presented by the Maintenance Supervisor.

\nRESOLVED that the Financial Statement to the month ending September 30, 2012 be accepted as presented.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that the Village of Benito appoint four members of the Benito Fire Department as peace officers for the Village of Benito as attached hereto as Schedule \u201cA\u201d for the purpose of enforcing By-law #05\/10 between the hours of nine o\u2019clock on the evening of October 31st, A.S. 2012 and six o\u2019clock in the morning of November 1st, A.D. 2012.

\nRESOLVED that the October Animal Control Report be accepted as presented by the Animal Control Officer.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that the Chief Administrative Officer be authorized to write a letter to the Public Utilities Board requesting approval for a deficit in the Village of Benito Utility Operating Fund for the year 2011 in the amount totaling $40,806.00;
\nBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the aforesaid deficit be recovered in the 2013 budget year.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that the Chief Administrative Officer be authorized to write a letter to Intergovernmental Affairs requesting approval for a deficit in the Village of Benito General Operating Fund for the Year 2011 in the amount totaling $27,895.00
\nBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the aforesaid deficit be recovered in the 2013 budget year.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that the Village of Benito authorize payment of invoices as attached hereto.

\nWHEREAS the Employee overtime reports have been received and reviewed by Council;
\nBE IT RESOLVED that the September overtime reports be approved for payment as presented.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that we do adjourn the meeting at 10:25pm.
