\nMayor Meadows called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that the minutes of the last Regular Meeting of Council held on September 11, 2012 and the Special Meeting held on September 13, 2012 be accepted as presented.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nSCOUTEN
\nRESOLVED that the agenda for the Regular meeting held on September 25, 2012 be adopted as presented.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that Building Permit #06-12 ~ Utility Shed at 103 Third Avenue be accepted as presented.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nBE IT RESOLVED that the September Maintenance report be accepted as presented.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that the Bank Reconciliation and the Financial Statement to the month ending August 31, 2012 be accepted as presented.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nBE IT RESOLVED that M. Hagglund be authorized to work on a casual basis in the Maintenance Department from September 1 to September 7, 2012 as per Schedule \u201cA\u201d attached hereto.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nWHEREAS the Village of Benito supports the initiative of the Concerned Citizens of Swan Valley to request funding for the establishment of a Safe House in the area such as one that existed from 1995 through 2005;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that a letter of support be sent to the Concerned Citizens of the Swan Valley confirming Council\u2019s support of the initiative.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that the Village of Benito approve membership renewal with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and that the membership fee of $143.00 be approved for payment.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that the Village Office be closed on Monday August 27 and Friday August 30, 2012.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that The Village of Benito authorize payment of $1066.00 for the 2012 Municipal Levy to the Swan Valley Airport Commission.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nWHEREAS the flooding experienced in the Village in June of the current year resulted in unanticipated expenses; and
\nWHEREAS funds were utilized for payment of the resulting invoices;
\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council authorize the transfer of funds from the Utility Reserve for sewer line repair and expenses incurred as per Schedule \u201cA\u201d attached hereto; and
\nBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the transferred funds be replenished from the Disaster Financial Assistance claim payment when it be received.

\nRESOLVED that the September Animal Control Report be accepted as presented by the Animal Control Officer.
\nCarried.<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that members of Council and the Chief Administrative Officer be authorized to attend the G-7 Meeting in Kenville on Monday October 1, 2012.
\nBE IT FURTHER RESLOVED that mileage and expenses be authorized for payment.
