The Council of the Town of Swan River met on Wednesday, August 21, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers with Mayor McKenzie presiding and Councillors Bobick, Jacobson, and Friesen, Whyte and Sakal present. Councillor Delaurier was absent.<\/p>\n
Delegation:<\/p>\n
Neil Brown from the Swan Valley Historical Museum was present to respond to any questions regarding their Financial Statement for 2011.<\/p>\n
Minutes:<\/p>\n
1.\tRESOLVED that the Agenda for the August 21st, 2012 regular meeting of Council be received.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\t\tCarried:<\/p>\n
2.\tRESOLVED that the minutes of the July 10th and July 18th special meetings and the July 17th, 2012 regular meeting of Council be adopted as received.\t<\/p>\n

3.\tRESOLVED that Council authorize a grant in the amount of $7,400 to the Swan Valley Historical Museum.<\/p>\n

13.\tRESOLVED that the accounts as follows be hereby approved for payment:<\/p>\n

16. \tRESOLVED that Associated Engineering be authorized to proceed with the Water Treatment Plant \u2013 Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Upgrade as per their proposal dated May 24th, 2012; but not including the update of the SCADA sceen graphics option.<\/p>\n

17.\tRESOLVED that, pursuant to Section 152(3) of The Municipal Act, Council go into Committee and close the meeting to the public.<\/p>\n
