\"\"The Council of the Town of Swan River met on Tuesday, April 17th, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers with Mayor McKenzie presiding and Councillors Bobick, Jacobson, and Friesen, Whyte and Delaurier and Sakal present. <\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that the Agenda for the April 17th, 2012 meeting of Council be received.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that the minutes of the April 3rd, 2012 regular meeting of Council be adopted as received.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that the AMM Group Benefits package as presented by Western Financial Group and attached as Schedule \u201cA\u201d be hereby approved.
\nCarried:<\/p>\n

\nRESOLVED that Leslie Galischuk be hired as a Seasonal Labourer with the Public Works Department with employment to commence on April 23rd, 2012.

\nRESOLVED that the proposed subdivision of part of Lot 2 Plan 35985 DLTO and numbered by Manitoba Local Government Community Planning Services File No. 4-455-12-3842 be hereby approved, subject to:
\n(1)\tThat all overdue taxes be paid prior to final approval of this subdivision application.

\nWHEREAS the Thunderhill Ski Club is requesting financial assistance with the proposed lift upgrades and hill expansion and this request has been sent to the G-7 and a formula drafted on a per capita basis across the entire G-7.
\nTherefore let it be resolved that the Town of Swan River commit $30,000 in each of the 2013 and 2014 Budget years.

\nRESOLVED that the Manitoba Lung Association be authorized to hold a Door to Door campaign within the Town of Swan River between May 21st, 2012 and May 31st, 2012.

\nRESOLVED that the accounts as follows be hereby approved for payment:

\n(2)\tPayroll Account from Cheque No. 2827 to No. 2835 for a total of $78,796.83.

\nRESOLVED that By-Law No. 4\/2012 being a By-Law of the Town of Swan River authorizing the closing of a public reserve be read a 1st time long.
