Councillor Garry McFadyen was absent.<\/p>\n<p>CALL TO ORDER 7:30 pm<\/p>\n<p>ADOPTION OF AGENDA<br \/>\n56.<br \/>\nJoyce Readman, Daphne Currie;<br \/>\nRESOLVED THAT the agenda for the April 10, 2012 special meeting of Council be adopted as presented.<br \/>\nCarried<\/p>\n<p>BUSINESS<br \/>\n57.<br \/>\nDaphne Currie, Joyce Readman;<br \/>\nWHEREAS Garry McFadyen has handed in his written resignation as Councillor;<br \/>\nTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council receives his \tresignation with regrets;<br \/>\nBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT since there is now a vacancy on\tcouncil, the Bowsman Council requests that the Senior Election Official hold a by-election as soon as reasonably practicable.<br \/>\nCarried<\/p>\n<p>Councillor Courtney Densen arrived at 8:55pm.<\/p>\n<p>ADJOURNMENT<br \/>\n58.<br \/>\nJoyce Readman, Courtney Densen;<br \/>\nRESOLVED THAT we adjourn at 9:18 pm.<br \/>\nCarried<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Minutes of Special Council meeting held in Bowsman Council Chambers on April 10, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. Present were Mayor Leanne Hutman and Councillors Daphne Currie, Courtney Densen and Joyce Readman.
