A Regular Meeting of Council of the Village of Benito was called to order at 7:00 pm on Tuesday November 8, 2011 in the Village Council Chambers.

Mayor Meadows called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

RESOLVED that the minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held on October 25, 2011 be adopted as presented.
Carried.

RESOLVED that the agenda for the meeting held on November 8, 2011 be adopted as amended.
Carried.

SCOUTEN
Resolved that pursuant to Section 152(3) of The Municipal Act, Council go into Committee of the whole and close the meeting to the public.
Carried.

4.
SCHNEIDER
OFFENBERGER
RESOLVED that pursuant to Section 152(4) of The Municipal Act, that this meeting be re-opened to the public.
Carried.

5.
ZEBINSKI
OFFENBERGER
RESOLVED that the Village of Benito authorize payment of $40.00 for the annual per capita contribution to Crime Stoppers for 2011.
Carried.

OFFENBERGER
RESOLVED that accounts numbered 23571 to 23626 in the amount totaling $39, 259.42 be ratified as paid.
Carried.

SCHNIEDER
WHEREAS under the terms of By-law #01/01 the attached list of properties have become unsightly:

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the owners of the aforementioned properties shall be given written notice as per By-Law #01/01 with a specified date for compliance of November 30, 2011; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that where an order has not been complied with after the specified date, The Village of Benito shall take action to effect compliance and any costs incurred shall be billed to the respective property owner.

RESOLVED that the November Animal Control Report be accepted as presented by the Animal Control Officer.

RESOLVED that the Regular Meeting of Council scheduled for Tuesday November 22, 2011 be hereby rescheduled to Tuesday November 29, 2011.

RESOLVED the Village of Benito authorize an advertisement with the Community Foundation of Swan Valley for the amount of $40.00.
Carried.

11.
SCHNEIDER
SCOUTEN
RESOLVED that sum of $2507.05 be hereby authorized for transfer from the Cemetery Trust Fund to the Village of Benito General Operating Fund for 2011 expenses as attached hereto.
Carried.

RESOLVED that the Village of Benito authorize payment of invoices as follows:
1. SL Watershed Conservation District
Annual Levy November portion $375.00
2. Swan Valley Historical Museum Annual Grant $400.00
3. Public Utility Board Annual License Fee $100.00
4. Manitoba Local Government for Assessment Services $7270.00
