RESOLVED that the Rural Municipality of Swan River purchase a 1/18 page ad in the fall edition of SNORIDERS publication at a cost of $398.00 plus tax.

WHEREAS By-Law No. 2354, Section 15, requires any person who wished to keep, harbour, or control that number of dogs exceeding the maximum prescribed in Section 8 thereof, regardless of whether for profit or pleasure, shall apply in writing to the Council for a Kennel Permit;
AND WHEREAS application has been received in the prescribed format indicating the number of dogs on the premises and the applicant has acknowledged that compliance with all aspects of the Animal Control By-Law is required;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Rural Municipality of Swan River issue a Kennel Permit as per the application attached hereto.

WHEREAS Melvin and Lynda Phillips have applied to Council for a Zoning Variation Order to allow for a residential subdivision of 15 acres, in an “AG” Agricultural General Zone, that will be 50% larger in area than the 10 acre maximum allowed in Zoning By-Law 2383-04, Part 4(F);
AND WHEREAS adjacent land owners have been contacted, no objections have been received and after careful consideration;
NOW THEREFORE Council in Meeting duly assemble hereby approve said application.

WHEREAS Sharon Satz, Jennie Satz, and Deborah Barabash have submitted an application to subdivide a 5.73 acre lot on SE 20-34-29W which contains an existing yardsite with residence;
AND the subject property is designated AGRICULTURAL AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT AREA according to Swan Valley Planning District Development Plan and is zoned “AG” Agricultural General according the R.M. of Swan River Zoning By-Law #2383-04;
AND the Development Plan, Section 3.3.4.3(d) allows for the subdivision for a residence that is surplus to the farmer’s needs;
AND the Zoning By-Law, Part 4, Table 4.1 provides for the establishment of a non-farm residence as a permitted use within this zone and the proposed lot conforms to all minimum standards;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council in meeting duly assembled hereby approve said subdivision application.
