Some mixed weather, with mostly sunny afternoons, allowed for further progress this week. A day of rain and cool weather interrupted the week, with windy conditions following on the weekend. The entire Region received precipitation this week with the wettest location recorded at McCreary station at 14.6mm.

Post harvest operations such as fall fertilizer and anhydrous applications continue across the region. There are some fields that had patches too wet to harvest and/or delayed growth that will need follow-up. There are also areas in fields that were wet throughout the season requiring some attention due to weed growth.

Reported yields have been mixed, depending on how the crop fared through the season. Yields range widely from below average to above average so far. Later harvested fields have had below average yields at 25-35 bu/acre.
