A wonderful showcase of dances was enjoyed by all in attendance at the Dolyna Ukrainian Dancers Year End Concert on Saturday, April 25, 2026. The hard work and dedication of the dancers and instructor Wynn Fedorchuk were evident on the stage throughout afternoon.

The Pryvit (Welcome) dance was performed by the Intermediate and Senior groups, which included the presentation of the paska, wheat and salt by Drevin and Eva and Lila Penner, to their parents who were the Hospydar and Hospydnya (hosts) for the event.

The Sadochuk, Beginner, Junior, Intermediate and Senior groups as well as some solos and duets performed during the afternoon. The performances consisted of an array of dances, including Polissia, Poltava, Volyn, Hutzel, Transcarpathian, Lyrical and Bukovynia. There was also a special guest performance by the Dolyna Adult Ukrainian Dancers.

Instructor, dancer and artist Wynn Fedorchuk also performed a solo that earned many cheers and applause. He also created and donated an original Ukrainian dance pencil drawing for which a draw took place during the concert with all proceeds from tickets purchased going to the Dolyna Ukrainian Dance group.

The Kolomeyka finale had all the current, past and future Dolyna Ukrainian Dancers gather on stage for a final song and dance.
