The results of the election were as follows:

CLINT JANZEN 188
ALLEN ‘BUTCH’ MARTIN 169
JAMES GARROW 10
ALL 367 BALLOTS WERE VALID AS THERE WER NO SPOILED OR REJECTED BALLOTS.

This represents 25% of the approximately 1500 resident electors. A reasonable turnout for a by election. Clint Janzen’s term begins at noon tomorrow once he takes the oath of office for council.

There were no issues, and the election was conducted as prescribed by the Municipal Act Province of MB.
