4.6 Xplornet Communication Lease Agreement

WHEREAS Xplornet Communication has requested the use of land on Thunderhill for a communication tower, and the Municipality and Xplornet have come to agreement on a Gound Site Agreement covering lease amount and the land use;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of Swan Valley West does hereby approve the Gound Site Agreement as presented.

4.7 Subdivision Application

WHEREAS the owners of PT. SW 14 SEC. 23-36-27 WPM have made an application to subdivide their property. As the intent of the
application is to create parcel A, B, C to accommodate for shared access; and;
WHEREAS the Council for the Municipality of Swan Valley West has reviewed said application, along with the Conditional Approval letter received from Community and Regional Planning dated September 23rd, 2021 and have no objections to the aforementioned subdivision;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED we do hereby approve the Subdivision of the aforementioned property, provided all conditions and requirements set out in said letter from the Province of Manitoba, Community and Regional Planning Branch are met.

Cheetah’s Gymnastic Club for partnership as required to apply for a grant from Swan Valley Community Foundation;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council accept the partnership request and authorize the Reeve and/or CAO to sign the Community Foundation Partnership Agreement for the Cheetah’s bathroom upgrade project on behalf of the Municipality of Swan Valley West.

WHEREAS Subsection 369(1) of the Municipal Act provides as follows;
369(1) A municipality may cancel or adjourn an auction of a particular property at any time before it begins if (b) the property owner enters into an agreement with the municipality for payment of the arrears and costs
WHEREAS a property owner requested to enter into an agreement with the municipality for payments of the 2019, 2020, 2021 taxes and costs.
BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Municipality of Swan Valley West does hereby agree to this payment arrangement and removal of the 2021 tax sale list for said property and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Reeve shall be authorized to sign such an agreement on behalf of the municipality.

WHEREAS the Transportation Committee has reviewed the
updated quotes as requested from the selected tendering vendors and have given verbal recommendation to accept the quote from PIER Solutions;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of Swan Valley West does hereby accept the quote for the Crestview Bridge for
$236,834.50 and the quote for the Wittmier Bridge for $259,483.50 from PIER Solutions.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Reeve will sign the Construction Management Agreement on behalf of the Municipality
