The Pine River Community Centre sponsored a Fundraising Supper on Sunday June 9, 2019. The guests enjoyed a delicious supper consisting of a plate full of spaghetti and meatballs smothered in a tangy tomato sauce with a bowl of caesar salad on the side and garlic bread, followed by a mouth watering dessert plate of angel food cake and ice cream topped with sliced strawberries and drizzled in sauce and their choice of beverage.

Congratulations to the 50/50 raffle ticket winners: 1st place of $360.00 to Beverly Martin of Penticton, BC. 2nd place of $216.00 to Sandra Semeniuk Love of Winnipeg and 3rd place was $144.00 to Rory Jordan from Onanole, MB. Congrats to the silent action winners: Gwynn Ketel (back for a visit with friends), Beth Smith, Orville Soloway, Ron Skulmoski, Debbie Soloway, Ralph Burmaster, Cathy Hancharyk, Kadee Barschewsky, Brian Bertrand, Morgan Barschewsky and Leanne Marceniuk.

Thanks to all for volunteering, donating, selling tickets and coming to support our successful fundraiser. Special thank you to Dale Caruk and family and Mr. Anthony (Tony) Semeniuk for their very, very generous donations to the Pine River Community Centre, we appreciate your support more than words can say. We look forward to seeing everyone again for our Fall Supper, so enjoy your summer.
