RESOLVED THAT the Agenda be adopted as amended.

RESOLVED THAT Stuart Walmsley shall be appointed as Finance Chair for this council meeting.

RESOLVED THAT the minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held on December 5th, 2017 shall be adopted as circulated.

RESOLVED THAT we do hereby authorize payment of the List of Accounts numbered 4348 to 4457 inclusive, amounting to $1,491,459.02.

RESOLVED THAT the Financial Statement and Bank Reconciliation for the month ending November 30th, 2017 shall be approved as presented.

RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby approve the Staff Expense Reports as submitted.

RESOLVED THAT we do hereby accept the resignation of Brenna Gray, with regrets.

8. L. Mychalchuk – L. Hutman
RESOLVED THAT we do hereby agree to advertise for the Finance Clerk Position as per the attached.
Carried.

9. C. Densen – S. Walmsley
RESOLVED THAT we do hereby agree to post signs as requested under the attached terms and conditions.
Carried.

10. L. Mychalchuk – L. Hutman
RESOLVED THAT we do hereby agree to apply for 3 youth positions for summer 2018 under the Manitoba Green Team Grant.
Carried.

11. S. Walmsley – G. Bartel
RESOLVED THAT we do hereby agree to pay for the removal of beavers and beaver dams as per the attached;

12. L. Mychalchuk – G. Bartel
WHEREAS the RM Gravel Roads Maintenance Agreement with Manitoba Infrastructure is set to expire on December 31st, 2017; and
WHEREAS Council has received a “Offer for Extension” of said agreement for a period of one year (expiration date – December 31st, 2018) at the same terms as “year three” of the current agreement; and
WHEREAS Council is in agreement of the one-year extension,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby agree to extend the aforementioned agreement for a period of one year under the same terms as “year three” of the current agreement and authorize the CAO to sign said agreement on behalf of the Municipality.

RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman does hereby agree to continue past curfew by majority of council in accordance with the current Procedures By-Law.

RESOLVED THAT we do now adjourn at 11:10 p.m. to meet again on January 9th, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. for the next regular meeting of council.
