National Aboriginal Day was celebrated at the Elbert Chartrand Friendship Centre on Wednesday, June 21, 2017. The Celebration featured many different activities and events throughout the day.

The day started with a Sunrise Ceremony at 6am followed by a free Pancake Breakfast.

The cultural celebration included fiddling, square dancers, traditional dancers and local talent throughout the day.

A free lunch was provided featuring stew and bannock.
