Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of the Rural Municipality of Mountain held Wednesday, June 14, 217 in the R.M. of Mountain Council Chambers in Birch River, Manitoba.

The meeting was called to order at 10:45 A.M. by Reeve Marvin Kovachik, quorum being present.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain approve the purchase requests as per Schedule ‘A’ attached hereto.

RESOLVED THAT Cheque Nos. 20170583 to 20170703 be approved for payment in the amount of $95,318.97, including $6,326.87 for Council indemnities, as per By-Law 03/16, and Direct Deposit Payroll in the amount of 7,761.32 as attached hereto as Schedule A.
AND FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED THAT the direct payment amount of $4,847.47 for Receiver General May 2017 be approved for payment.

AND FURTHER IT BE RESOLVED THAT the plan entry date into the Municipal Employees Benefits Program be May 27, 2017.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain accept the recommendation to hire Quintin Rowe for the Green Team position at Birch River, to commence when mutually agreed upon, terms and conditions as outlined in the Green Team Program.
