Music instructor, Lyneta Grenier and the students had worked very hard to prepare for the wonderful evening of music and were excited to showcase their fiddling and guitar playing skills. Emcee for the evening, Peter Fleming kept the program running smoothly and entertained the audience throughout the evening.
Stephan Kovachik, Liam Dodd, Devin Todosichuk, Sammy Moshenko and Mason Klekta our beginner guitar group strummed Ode to Joy.
Our talented instructor, Lyneta Grenier pleased the crowd with Faded Love, St Anne’s Reel, Red Headed Fiddler and Sherbrooke Reel. It was great to see the guitar students provide backup for some of the music.
Concert Guest Performer, Tiara Davy got the crowd toe-tapping to Buckskin Reel, Travellers Jig, Bowing the Strings, Maple Sugar and Maidens Prayer.
A special thanks to the students and families of the program, instructor-Lyneta Grenier, Guest Performer-Tiara Davy, Northwest Metis Council for sponsorship, SVSD, MEYS, MMYS-Mark Simpson, Christina and Peter Fleming, Kevin Penner, all of the volunteers and all who joined us to support and encourage our fiddling students.
