On Saturday, May 14, 2016 it was a beautiful, crisp morning to enjoy delicious, fluffy pancakes, sausage patties and great conversation.

We had excellent support from many High School Rodeo contestants, parents and Swan Valley community members.

This event was hosted by the newly formed Swan Valley Light Horse and Pony 4-H club. We had a very successful first ever event with over 270 people supporting our 4-H club.

There were many compliments from all who attended.

Thank you to all the organizers, cooks, volunteers and customers who helped to make our first ever event, as a club, a huge success! We appreciate that the High School Rodeo Committee inquired and allowed us to organize this event.

Also, thank you to everyone who purchased raffle tickets for a 1/2 BBQ pork package donated by Ray & Vivian Rooks~ free range pork. The winner, Ann Noble, will enjoy about 100 lbs of pork cut and wrapped.

Some of the proceeds of our two fundraising events will go towards a Equine clinic this fall for the Swan Valley Light Horse & Pony 4-H members.
