Bowsman United Church and Minitonas Knox United Church held two performances on April 23 and 24, 2016 of the Cantata “Come To the Table” at the Bowsman Legion Hall and Knox United Church.

A great message was received by many about going forth in the community and helping those in need. The Cantata consisted of three acts including music and acting beginning at the Householders Great Feast found in the book of Luke and ending with discussions on how to move forward and help those in need.

Brenna Smith oversaw the production and did a masterful job of directing of the choir of 12 members. Linda Gilchrist’s piano accompaniment showed the result of many hours of practice! The acting cast of 14 people brought the script to life. Hillsview Pastoral charge enjoyed wide Valley participation as people shared their skills and talents.
