Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of the Rural Municipality of Mountain held Wednesday, November 18th, 2015 in the R.M. of Mountain Council Chambers in Birch River, Manitoba.

The meeting was called to order at 10:01 A.M. by Reeve Marvin Kovachik, quorum being present.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Agenda for the November 18th, 2015 Regular Meeting of Council be adopted as amended.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the November 4th, 2015 Regular Meeting of Council be adopted as presented, all requirements having been complied with.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain accept the Financial Statement for the month ended October 31st, 2015 as presented.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby accept the RFQ [Request for Quotation] from Valley Lions Recycling Inc. attached hereto as Schedule ‘A’, for recycling processing in RM of Mountain.

WHEREAS Mafeking Utility continues to incur PSAB deficits regularly;
AND WHEREAS Council has prepared a rate study and application for revised rates for submission to the Public Utilities Board (PUB);
AND WHEREAS it will take some time for PUB to process this application and ORDER revised rates while the utility continues to incur shortfalls;
BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain hereby request PUB to set interim rates for the Mafeking Utility based on the application submitted.

WHEREAS By-Law No. 09/11 allows Council to extend the time of adjournment after curfew by one half hour;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the regular meeting of Council of the Rural Municipality of Mountain be extended to 5:00 pm.
