May sunshine beat down upon the Hillsview Hikers on Monday, May 25, 2015 as they stepped off the 28km from Bowsman to Minitonas.

Hikers left Bowsman United with stomachs full of pancakes and ham.
The group ranged in age from just months, baby Linsey in the stroller to 90-year-old John Cotton.
The countryside of mountains, fields and rivers and wild flowers delighted the eyes of the participants.
School students giggled and chatted and arrived at lunch with good appetites. The picnic lunch at Campbell’s under shady trees was most welcome. We said goodbye to the Bowsman School students at this point and continued the hike south.
To our delight, some Minitonas School students joined the hike with fresh energy and enthusiasm. They stepped up the hike running to the finish line. There a great wrap-up celebration with refreshments was enjoyed bringing an end to a great experience.
Thank you to all who supported and were a part of the 2015 Hillsview Hike!
