Thanks to the many families that took part in “Caching up in Swan River” and gave geocaching a try, October 11 and 18, 2014.

Some were first-timers and some were geocaching vets –
but all enjoyed the mini-quest and spending a few hours romping around Swan River. The favorite point for most groups was the Swan Valley Museum. Comments on the mini-quest ranged from “I never realized there was such a lovely lookout at the cemetery” to “Please do another one of these again soon”.

Winner of the Prize pack was Matt Zamzow of Minitonas.

Thank you to BeeGee’s Stationery, Dairy Queen, and the Chamber of Commerce for their donations to the prize pack. Thanks also to Manitoba in Motion for the use of their GPS units to run this event.
