A Regular Meeting of Council of the Village of Benito was called to order at 7:00 pm on Tuesday March 11, 2014 in the Village Council Chambers.

Absent Councilor Offenberger

Chief Administrative Officer ~ Pat Ellingson.

Mayor Meadows called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm

RESOLVED that the minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held on February 25, 2014 be adopted as presented

2. SCOUTEN

RESOLVED that the agenda for the Regular meeting held on March 11, 2014 be adopted as presented
Carried.

3. ZEBINSKI
SCOUTEN
RESOLVED that accounts numbered 25244 to 25280 in the amount totaling $28,493.86 be ratified as paid.
Carried.

4. SCHNEIDER

RESOLVED that the Village of Benito approve support of the Swan Valley Chamber of Commerce Tourist Information Centre with a contribution of $200.00.
Carried.

5. ZEBINSKI
SCOUTEN
WHEREAS the process of attracting immigrants and assisting them in settling into the Swan River Valley is important for economic development and growth;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the Village of Benito does hereby agree to provide funding in the amount of $382.00 for 2014.

RESOLVED that the Village of Benito approve the 2014 Budget of the Swan Valley District Recreation Commission as Presented; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 2014 Levy of $3,430.70 be approved for payment.

RESOLVED that The Village of Benito approve the 2014 budget of the NWRL and the annual levy in the amount of $7393.75
Carried.

RESOLVED that the Village of Benito authorize payment of the 2014 MMAA membership fee.
Carried.

9. SCHNEIDER
ZEBINSKI
RESOLVED that the Village of Benito approve membership renewal with Federation of Canadian Municipalities and that the membership fee of $151.57 be approved for payment. Carried.

10. SCOUTEN
SCHNEIDER
RESOLVED that the Village of Benito approves payment of the 2014 Municipal Levy to the Swan Lake Watershed Conservation District.
Carried.

11. SCHNEIDER
SCOUTEN
RESOLVED that the Village of Benito authorize payment of the .25 mil requirement in the amount of $1457.49 to the Swan Valley Health Facilities Foundation Inc. for 2014 Doctor Recruitment/Retention.
Carried.

RESOLVED that we do adjourn the Regular Meeting of Council at 10:20 pm.
