The “Soup & Bun Lunch,” held Friday, 17 January 2014 by the Swan River St. Andrew’s United Church, at the Veterans Hall, was well attended. The patrons joined the event at a steady pace for the 2.5 hours it was held.

The crowd enjoyed the food & conversation on a warm, snowy day. And, we appreciated the attendance of our MLA, Ron Kostyshyn. A large group of Minitonas Ladies braved the weather, and the road, to enjoy a tasty lunch, as well. For all those who came, we thank you very much.


The United Church of Canada Mission & Service Fund will be happy to receive the funds raised from this event. This Organization uses the funds for many charitable groups, or world disasters, where there is a dire need of help.
