Swan River RCMP Report | On July 9, 2013 just before 1:00 am, Swan River Fire Dept, and the Swan River RCMP received a 911 dispatch in regard to a dumpster fire. This fire was located in the back alley of 6th avenue south along the 200 Block, next to a hydro pole, in Swan River, MB. Police used fire extinguishers to control the fire until the Fire Dept arrived and ensured that the blaze was completely out.

On July 10, 2013 again just before 1:00 am, Swan River Fire Dept, and the Swan River RCMP were dispatched via 911 to a dumpster fire. This one was located behind Atkinson Sports Excellence, in a back alley along the 500 block of Main Street in Swan River, MB. Upon police attendance, the Fire Dept already had the fire out.

No further information is available at this time. Police continue to investigate.
