RCMP Media Release | On May 2nd, 2013 , Swan River RCMP, with the assistance of the Manitoba RCMP Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) and the Manitoba RCMP Integrated Technological Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Swan River, Manitoba.

A 30-year-old male resident of Swan River was arrested and has been charged with a number of offences, including unlawful possession of child pornography, distributing child pornography, sexual assault , uttering death threats and drug possession.

He has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in Dauphin Provincial Court on Monday, May 6, 2013.

His name will not be released. Police continue to investigate.
