Skateboarders and BMX bike riders demonstrated why they love the Swan River Lions Skate Plaza with a local talent show on Friday, September 21, 2012.

To all of our local talent that came out to show their stuff – well done – it was great to see so many skatebaorders and BMX bike riders out at one time.

I would like to take this time to say Thank You to all the local sponsors to help make the show a HUGE SUCCESS:

Y not Johnny’s for donating hot dogs and buns, Campbell Construction for a monetary donation, Extra Foods and ESSO.

I would also like to thank the parents that jumped in to help on site make the show/canteen run so smooth.

To all the community members that enjoyed the show
Thank you for supporting our youth.
Last but not least to KYLE – thank you for your vision and the energy you you put forth to get the Skate Plaza up and running for the youth of today and our future.

After a great evening, and all monies counted the youth will be presenting Kyle and the Skate Board Union with over $500.
