Regular Meeting of the members of Council of the Town of Minitonas, held in the Council Chambers, Minitonas, Manitoba this 4th day of July, 2012 A.D. at 7:35 p.m.

1. J. Caruk – D. Bartel
RESOLVED THAT the Agenda be adopted as presented.
Carried.

2. W. Robb – S. Windsor
RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held on June 6th, 2012 and June 20th, 2012 shall be adopted as circulated.
Carried.

3. J. Caruk – D. Bartel
WHEREAS workplace safety & health regulations require a change in equipment required for certain Public Works Procedures;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Minitonas Town Council does approve the attached equipment purchase, and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT a transfer of funds equal to the full amount of the purchase, including transportation and safety costs shall be authorized from the municipality’s Machinery Reserve Account.

4. S. Windsor – W. Robb
RESOLVED THAT the Minitonas Town Council does approve the attached purchase from Armtec, and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT a transfer of $5000.00 shall be hereby authorized from the municipality’s General Reserve Account in accordance with the 2012 Financial Plan.

5. W. Robb – S. Windsor
RESOLVED THAT the Public Works Report for the month of June shall be accepted as submitted by the Town Foreman, a copy of which is attached hereto.
Carried.

6. D. Bartel – J. Caruk
WHEREAS the Public Works Employee Overtime Reports have been received & reviewed by Council;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT all applicable overtime hours recorded for the month of June, 2012 shall be paid out with the July 15, 2012 payroll or booked for future use as indicated on the aforementioned reports, copies of which have been attached hereto.

7. W. Robb – S. Windsor
WHEREAS a Public Hearing was held on July 4th, 2012 in accordance with Section 169(1) of The Planning Act, with all requirements met for Public Notice, and;
WHEREAS the Provisions of Section 106(1)(b) have been met;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Town of Minitonas does hereby grant the attached Conditional Use Order with no specific terms or conditions, provided that said lagoon expansion is built in accordance with the Engineered Plans and under the Terms & Conditions of Environment License 603R dated April 25th, 2011.

RESOLVED THAT we do now adjourn at 9:50 pm to meet again for the next regular meeting of Council to be held on the 18th day of July, 2012 A.D. at 7:00 pm.
