Ralley for the Valley – August 29, 2026

Today was about one thing — our community.

Rally for the Valley was made possible because individuals, businesses, organizations, volunteers, performers, vendors, and community members all came together with one common goal: to create something positive for the people of our Valley.

There was no one person, organization, or group behind the success of this day. It was the result of collaboration, teamwork, generosity, and community spirit. Everyone brought something to the table, and together we created a day that belonged to all of us.

🎶 The musical entertainment brought people together, filling the day with great music, laughter, dancing, and good memories. It was wonderful to see people gathering, visiting with one another, and simply enjoying the moment.

The food booths were incredible, with so many delicious choices and local people putting their time and energy into feeding the crowd. There was definitely no shortage of great food!

The Swan Valley Jackpots barrel racing brought plenty of excitement and energy, giving everyone another reason to cheer and enjoy the day.

But more than anything, Rally for the Valley was about choosing to focus on the positive.

Our Valley has been through a lot. Today gave us an opportunity to put all of that aside for a little while — to come together, enjoy each other’s company, support local people and organizations, listen to music, eat great food, cheer on the barrel racers, laugh, visit, and celebrate who we are as a community.

And then came the fireworks.

There was something about watching those fireworks light up the sky at the end of the night that felt like it carried a deeper meaning — something that is honestly hard to put into words. After everything our communities have experienced, standing together under that sky, surrounded by our neighbours, friends, families, and community members, felt different. It felt like we were all sharing the same moment, the same sense of pride, hope, and gratitude. I can’t explain exactly what it was, but I truly believe that everyone in that crowd was feeling it too.

At the end of the day, that is what Rally for the Valley was all about.

Not one organization. Not one group. Not one individual.

It was ALL OF US.❤️

Thank you to every person and organization who helped make this day possible, and to everyone who came out and made it what it was.

You showed what happens when a community works together, supports one another, and chooses to celebrate the good.
