The Town of Swan River has issued the following Evacuation Advisory

The Town of Swan River is strongly recommending evacuation from the affected areas of the following streets:

• Duncan Crescent
• Heyes Street
• Crescent Drive
• Centennial Drive
• Sixth Ave North
• Seventh Ave North
• River Park Drive

This recommendation is due to increasing water levels and the limited ability for emergency services to respond.

Residents in the affected zones should prepare to be away from their homes for up to 72 hours.

Please take essential items with you, including:
• Medications
• Pets and pet supplies
• Valuables
• Important documents

An Evacuation Centre has been established at: Veterans Community Hall (119 6th Ave North). Residents who are evacuating are encouraged to attend the Support Centre. On going accommodations are being evaluated.
