The Swan Valley community came together in a remarkable show of support for local youth sports during the recent Kal Tire Fundraising BBQ, benefiting Swan Valley Youth Baseball and Swan River Junior Curling.

Both of these organizations extend a heartfelt thank you to Kal Tire along with everyone who contributed to the event’s success. From sponsors who generously donated food and prize items to the many individuals who contributed in different ways, the community’s support was evident every step of the way.

On the day of the event, a dedicated team of volunteers worked together to serve approximately 1,250 people, including 350 students at three local schools. Their efforts helped create a welcoming and successful event.

The fundraiser raised an impressive $22,288, with proceeds being shared equally between Swan Valley Youth Baseball and Swan River Junior Curling. The funds will help support programming and opportunities for young athletes throughout the region.

We truly appreciate everyone who helped make this event possible. Your generosity and participation will have a lasting impact on youth baseball and junior curling in the Swan Valley.
