With our home base in the rural Minitonas area, we have been offline since Sunday June 7, 2026. We still have no power and no water but with cell service restored Tuesday evening, we now have internet.

We are sharing a few pictures from our attempt to find a route to Swan River Monday evening for fuel for our generator. Growing up in the area it is unbelievable that, with so many back road routes to Swan, every road we tried ended in no road.

The train tracks through Minitonas have suffered extensive damage as well.

We made it to Cowan yesterday for fuel. We were very fortunate that our home sustained very little physical damage. Our hearts go out to the many people that have experienced such devasting loss.
