Volunteer Manitoba was blown away by the support from the Swan River community as we hosted our very first Volunteer Fair in the region! This pilot event brought together local non-profits, students, and community members for a day focused on connection.

A huge thank you to Swan Valley Regional Secondary School for being such an amazing host.

The day began with a special student-only session, where students had the opportunity to meet with local non-profits and learn how they can get involved through volunteering.

We then opened the doors to the public and welcomed community members of all ages, from seniors looking for new opportunities to young people interested in summer volunteering, as well as individuals who were brand new to the community and looking to connect.

Overall, it was a lovely day filled with meaningful conversations.
