RCMP Media Release
On May 22, at 12:34 p.m., RCMP were called to a collision involving a female pedestrian at the intersection of Main Street and 8th Avenue in Swan River.
The pedestrian, a 57-year-old from Swan River, was struck by a westbound truck while crossing the street. The pedestrian was seriously injured and taken to hospital, where she died.
The driver of the truck, a 79-year-old Durban male, remained at the scene and spoke to officers.
