Service to Seniors

The Coffee and a Chat session in Benito initially scheduled for February 2026 was cancelled due to poor weather. The session was rescheduled and, on March 11, 2026, the Benito Drop In Center hosted the Benito Strings and band class with music teacher Brad Slepicka.

The children grades 4-8 played for us. The grades 4 & 5 strings class played for us, introducing themselves and the songs they were playing. The teacher introduced the grades 6-8 band class and their songs explaining that these two previous groups are part of the school curriculum.

The final act was the extracurricular band students which consisted of all ages. It was such a great experience with all three sets of students. Very talented individuals, congratulations go out to the teachers.
