Adult & Teen Challenge’s Northern Manitoba Sled for Eternity Ride, one of three annual snowmobile fundraising events hosted by the organization, took place February 28, 2026 as riders departed from the Swan Valley Museum for a 230-kilometre journey to Bellsite and back. Participants travelled the scenic trails of the Swan Valley, stopping for a hot lunch before completing the return trip.

Riders gathered that evening for dinner and a program highlighting the purpose behind the fundraiser. During the program, three graduates of Adult & Teen Challenge shared personal stories of recovery and life change through the organization’s in-residence recovery program. Each encouraged individuals who may be struggling with addiction to seek help. The evening also included the introduction of Koner Tissa as the new Swan River Community Support Worker, who will serve the Swan River area by connecting individuals and families with recovery resources and support services.

Funds raised through the Northern Manitoba ride will support Adult & Teen Challenge’s addiction treatment and recovery services across the region, helping men, women and families see addiction end and new life begin. The top fundraiser was awarded a 2026 Ski-Doo Backcountry XRS 850, and additional prizes were presented throughout the evening.

Adult & Teen Challenge expressed appreciation to the riders, volunteers and sponsors, including Presenting Sponsor Superior Projects and Gold Sponsor River Valley Power Sports, whose support through this event will assist individuals and families across Northern Manitoba in overcoming addiction and building new lives.
