The Benito School Craft Sale & Trade Show was a tremendous success! We welcomed over 25 vendors, all of whom were such a pleasure to work with. Our students were amazing—they sold popcorn by the bag, delivered lunch to the vendors at their tables, and even sold off the last of the pies at the end of the day!

The concession was a huge hit. We received countless compliments on the homemade soup, chili, buns, and pies. We also raised $600 through our 50/50 draw! A Grade 3 student, Luna Homeniuk, drew the winning ticket. Joey Makohoniuk was the lucky winner of $300—which he generously donated back to the school!

We were blessed with many volunteers who donated soups, buns, pies, and more, as well as those who gave their time in the kitchen, hosted vendors, set up and took down tables, and helped clean the hall afterward. Many students stayed the entire day to serve, clean, and make their rounds supporting the vendors.

A special thank you to Richard Stechyshyn for donating homemade buns, and to Parent Council along with other local parents and volunteers who are always ready to lend a helping hand. We’re also grateful to Swan Valley Co-op for donating a $200 gift card, which allowed us to purchase plates, bowls, creamers, extra pies, and other essentials.
