On July 10, 2025, at 5:20 am, Swan River RCMP responded to a report of a structure fire at a business located in the 500 block of Main Street in Swan River.

Upon arrival, officers observed extensive smoke emanating from the building with significant damage to the interior.

With assistance of a fire investigator, the preliminary investigation has determined the cause of the fire to be incendiary.

Video surveillance reviewed from the area shows an unknown male riding a bike passing the property just before the fire began.

Swan River RCMP are asking anyone who may have surveillance cameras in the area to check their video feed for anyone seen travelling on a bike between the hours of 5:00 am and 6:00 am.
