The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #39 hosted a supper for Fire Evacuees and Host families on June 6, 2025. We had an overwhelming response to our supper and fed approximately 260!

We would like to recognize and thank the following sponsors of our event – we cannot thank our community enough for the support we received.
No Frills – sponsored the burgers, buns, salads and brought us bananas to give to evacuees
Swan Valley Coop – sponsored the ice cream and water
Club Sapp/Ken Genaille – sponsored the fries and soft drinks for the event.
Denise Gogal gave us a beautiful hand crafted afghan to use as a door prize and a Flin Flon Evacuee won this cozy blanket.

We would also like to thank our volunteers who stepped up to help – we didn’t have to look for help they just volunteered.

Our staff, some who worked a very long shift, we could not have done this without you! Thank you.

Thank you to everyone who helped in whatever way – our hearts are full and we feel blessed by this community we call home.
