The Benito Rec Centre 16th Annual mixed bonspiel was held February 12-16, 2025. We were pleased to host 26 teams from the Swan Valley & Saskatchewan! Wednesday evening the spiel kicked off with a 7pm & 9pm draw. Thursday evening meat draw drew in a crowd!
Although the weather was cold, we were happy to see everyone come out and cheer on their favourite teams! The Shaker city Lounge was open all weekend offering up wings & Ribs with all your favourite beverages! The rink concession offered a full menu of rink favourites including a favourite “smash burger”. Saturday evening bonspiel supper was catered by H&M catering delivering a fabulous meal!
Sunday afternoon showcased the final 3 events. After the final game, everyone gathered at the Shaker City Lounge for prizes and presentations. Scott Schneider addressed the crowd and thanked all the curlers &, community volunteers who made it a success! Congratulations to all the winners!!
