RCMP Media Release | On November 1, 2024, at approximately 11:00 pm, Swan River RCMP responded to a report of an unresponsive male in Legion Park in the Town of Swan River.

Officers arrived on scene and located a 21-year-old male, from Brandon, with obvious injuries who was pronounced deceased on scene.

His death is being investigated as a homicide.
