Swan Valley Community Band Beginning Day, Wednesday 18 September 2024, saw a return of most of its current regular members with a few absent ones attending next week. Everyone was happy to see each other after a long summer break!

Excitement for new music was in the air with the expectation of some challenges as usual. The Fun is meeting & besting them through out the coming year!

Julie Kooistra, our founder & Musical Director, will be at the helm as usual conducting the musical group. Nic Stroud, Musical Director at ESRSS and trombonist, will be periodically conducting, allowing her to play her French Horn, too.

The SVCBand has been in operation since 1994 excluding those Covid years. We meet every Wednesday, 7:30 pm SVRSS Band Room, from September to May with a Christmas Break and 2 major Concerts, December and May.

Minimal Fees, variable level of expertise required!
